NSF certified carbon block
The Wellness Kitchen uses an NSF certified carbon block, which has been tested to effectively reduce Chlorine, Chloramines, Cysts, THMs, VOCs, MTBEs, Asbestos, Lead, Mercury, and other contaminants (for a complete list, see Performance Data Sheet). Each cartridge lasts 1,200 gallons or about 1 year for a family of four. Reduces Bacteria by 99.9999% and Virus by 99.99% The Wellness Kitchen utilizes cutting edge Nano-Ceram technology which has been independently tested to remove 99.9999% of Bacteria and 99.99% of Viruses. Unlike Reverse Osmosis technology, Nano-Ceram removes these contaminants without removing healthy minerals or reducing your flow rate. To find out more about Nano-Ceram technology, click here. Produces water 2 to 3 times faster than most filters Unlike most carbon filters which produce only 0.5 gpm (gallons per minute) or Reverse Osmosis systems which produce < 0.01 gpm, the Wellness Kitchen is designed to produce between 1 and 1.5 gpm. You can now fill a container with filtered water just as quickly as tap water! Even in low pressure installations such as RVs or Boats, the Wellness Kitchen can produce 1 gpm. Twist-lock, sanitary change cartridge maximizes safety and minimizes hassle The Wellness Kitchen utilizes a twist-lock design that allows you to change the cartridge by simply turning the handle 90º. A built in shut-off valve bypasses the system so you do not need to disconnect it from the water supply. The cartridge is completely contained in a sanitary housing which prevents any of the contaminants that have accumulated on the filter from passing back to you during cartridge change. Your replacement cartridge will also contain a pre-paid sleeve which you can use to send your used cartridge back to Wellness Filter for recycling. Industrial strength engineering dramatically reduces potential leaks The Wellness Kitchen was engineered to the most rigorous structural standards... designed to last 100,000 cycles and pressure spikes up to 400 psi. In the home this level of reliability is essential as even a small leak can cause major flood damage. Many other filters are hand-assembled with dozens of potential leak points that can fail during transport or worse, during use. The Wellness Kitchen uses a completely molded design and any leak points use the best double o-ring seals. Enhances water naturally with rare Japanese minerals The Wellness Kitchen is much more than just a filter. After the water has been purified it passes through a permanent enhancement cartridge filled with 5 layers of exotic, Japanese minerals. Inside, the patented magnetic treatment stage improves the hydrating ability of water, nourishing your cells with fresh, super-hydrating water. Afterwards Bakuhan and Taicho add alkaline minerals which stabilize the alkalinity of water and add a bacteriostatic effect, helping to keep the system free of contamination.
